Building up the new Clark pneumatic mast

Click on any of the pictures to see a larger version

Not a good view of the mast, but taken at night on the G1, it shows a nice sunset as well as the rotator cage, top bearing and the support arms attached to the top section of the mast.

The mast itself weighs 82Kg.  It is bolted through the wall to large metal plates and will be guyed at the rotator cage. Alterations to the head unit to fix the rotator cage, also shows the 'drop arms' for extra support. Although in this picture the cage does not look vertical, I can assure you it is. The stub mast and two verticals will be moved over onto the KR-400 rotator and this will give room for the beams. The green top section of the mast will be locked into place and not extended, as I only need to raise the other sections to clear the roof!

First lift of the Completed array before the guys were attached..........
